Why did you choose to attend UNT for your degree?

I took the English program IELI at UNT prior to my master degree, and I love Denton and UNT campus. So, I decided to finish my master’s study at UNT.

Can you tell us a little bit about your time here?

During my master’s degree, I joined Dr. Nandika D'Souza's team to do research. My research uses TSDC (Thermally Stimulated Depolarization Current) technology to detect a polymer's dielectric and insulation performance under high voltage and temperature. It was funded by Texas Instruments.

Were there any faculty who stood out to you?

Dr. Nandika D'Souza definitely is the person who gave me the most support. She opened the gate of polymer science, guided and led my research. Her preciseness and seriousness on research benefited me a lot, for both working and personal lives.

What makes you bleed green?

The "Mean Green" football team. I watched most of our home game; I could feel solidarity and pride from the game.
